what else..I just do not have any idea..i got dinner invitation at King Park Hotel tonight..but I'm still hesitate whether i need to fulfill the invitation or not..i mean i don't know whether i should go or not..all free, i just need to bring my self there..and someone will come and take me..I just do not have any idea what to wear..i don't know the theme of the dinner..and the most important all my stuffs need my attention since i go back to my hometown tomorrow morning..hmm i don't know..and still confuse..and got headache when think about it..hahaha..really over until got headache right? i don't know so i just let it be..just wait n see for tonight what will happen whether i go or not.. =)

more than 24 hours..hahaha..over..i spent my time, preparation for the dinner with the theme is Alam khayalan..fantasy night..I just do not have any idea since the idea come from Miss Fizah..and I just do not have any idea what to wear for the night..but like usually i just choose the simple one..cannot post the pictures because still in the camera..but honestly indescribable tiredness for yesterday and today..

so far so good..hehe..i was satisfied with my team effort..maybe not really fantasy and perfect..but all of us already try our best and put all effort to make it fantasy..we just have less than 24 hour to prepare all those thing..and im really proud with my batch mate..because most all of them came and helped us..even though they were not the community of the dinner team..im appreciate that..thanx a lot..May God bless all of you..overall i enjoyed and had fun tonight.. =)

oh I'm really tired and in the other word my life become miserable and chaos just because i need to fulfill my responsibility..dear people stop give burden on me..stop give me a duty..stop give me a work and so on..bla..bla..bla..I'm already tired with those and that..every year i need to keep do the same work..faced same thing..its bored ok..huhu..in negative side la..

but in positive side, sometime life become more worth when you are fucking busy than you just relax and do nothing..

steps

1.kill the specimen by using the chloroform in a covered bottle

2.tie the specimen to a thin, rectangle piece of glass by using nylon string or thread - make sure the body part are arranged in the best position to make sure all the body part can be seen clearly

3. place the glass with the specimen in such way that it leans properly against the wall of specimen bottle - put the glass position properly to make sure the specimen can be seen from all angles

4.the preservation bottle must be filled with preservative until the level when the bottle is closed. there are noot any air space inside it

5. seal the side of the cover with melted wax - air can oxidize ethanol or formalin, make it less effective

6.paste the label that contain following info
-scientific name
-common name
-date
-habitat
-the place where it is found
-collectors name
-preservative

herbarium - the plant specimen that has gone through drying process and is spread on a thick of paper with label..

steps
1.collecting - collect the important parts of plants specimen such as, leaves, fruit, flower to
help us classify and label it.
if the small plant, collect the roots and other special parts
the specimen must be healthy and fresh

2.pressing - placed the specimen horizontally between old news paper
parts likes leaves and flowers need to be open for easy viewing
leaves need to be arrange upwards and downwards alternately
place a plank on the top and below the specimen and tighten the knot between
the planks or place the weight on the top most layer

3.drying - dry the leaves in the oven at 45C-60C for 3 to 6 days
another method dry at ordinary air but the news paper need to be change
alternately and weight is increase frequently after 2 weeks

4.spreading - the dried specimen is arranged on a piece of thick, white or bright paper
the size of paper is 28cm X 43cm
the specimen needs to be pasted by using paper tape or thread
this method is good because we can transfer the specimen to another place or
material without damaging
avoid used gum and cellophane tape because it can damaged the specimen

5.classifying - to identify the specimen
the collector need to refer to book or expert classification such as museum,
Malaysian Forest Research Institute (FRIM ) and universities

6.labelling - the value of herbarium collection depends on exact labelling of the
following information
1 scientific / botanic name
2 local/original name
3 English name
4 location of the specimen found
5.collector
6.date
7.original colour or shape of the flower
8.types of specimen - shrub, herbs, vegetable or climbing plant
9.if it is a plant, what the colour of the stem
10.date bearing fruit or flower
